רכשתי טבעת זהב באחת החנויות. היה רשום טבעת 18 קראט
לא היה תיאור נוסף ולכן שאלתי את המוכר בתיבת ההודעות של אטסי
מה רוחב הטבעת ומה משקלה. רשם לדעתו הטבעת 4 ממ רחוב ושוקלת כ5 גרם. הגיעה הטבעת המיוחלת...מה אני מגלה? טבעת 14 קראט ( יש חותמת ) רוחב 2 ממ ומשקל 2.6 גרם. שילמתי על משהו יותר יוקרתי, נכון? רשמתי למוכר הוא ענה לי ונתן לי את את התשובה הנ"ל:
Hi ,
If you recall you asked certain questions about this ring before I had in hand ie: the weight & the width. The ring was in a bank safe and I hadn't seen it for a long time. I didn't have it in hand so I guestimated incorrectly, it was a weekend, and I responded too quickly. I'm surprised at the 14Kt. as most of the items we produced then were in 18Kt. Nevertheless its an interesting design, its well finished, the diamonds are OK as well and no mistake there and that watch strap is still misplaced and can't find it. All the best.

הוא מציין פה גם רצועה לשעון שרכשתי ממנו יחד עם הטבעת אך הוא גילה שאינו מוצא אותה אז שלח לי צק זיכוי מזומן בדולרים ( לטענתו כי אינו חבר של פיי פל ) טרם הפקדתי אותו אך לדעתי הבנק הולך לקרוע אותי בעמלת הפקדה ועלמת המרה לש"ח.
קיצר, האם יש מי לדבר איתו חוץ מפיי פל? התשובה המתנערת של המוכר לא הכי מוצאת חן בעיניי...
