Car to Israel

i'm a returning resident after over 30 years in Canada. My wife will join me for trial period. She would like to bring her car and drive it in Israel with Canadian plates and ownership. My wife can not be a new immigrant to Israel because she is not Jewish. What is the proper procedure to bring the car to Israel, please advise.
